We believe farming is a community effort. Our land can provide so much more than what we can use and our community is eager to grow. We are looking for a vegetable farmer to come and join us.This is us, Alessandra (Ale) and Stefano (Steo). We own 60 acres of land in Panton and the farm/farm buildings on the land. If you have read our website you know what we do and why we do it. However, there is a lot we could do but do not have time for it. So there are potentials our land has that are not fully used, but perhaps there is a likeminded person(s) out there that has the knowledge, passion and potential and only needs land and infrastructure. We hope to meet you. Read more to learn what we are looking for

WHAT WE GOT
We have a 92 X 30 hoop house with irrigation system. We have other potential 20 beds (3 X 30 feet) outside the hoop house. We have a small (20 X 12) green house (that needs repair) We also have a well trafficked farmstand and have a healthy community of people that regularly purchases from us. We also have potential rooms in our home for co-housing. We always have farm assistants living with us and can make room for a vegetable farmer (or a couple).
WHAT YOU HAVE
Experience farming vegetables in New England (preferably Vermont). A vision for how you want to run your business that includes being part of a larger farming community (people interested in owning their own land to do their own things are not a good match for us). You have a business plan with at least 2 seasons projections. You have good business references and lots of passion and determination.
WHAT IS THE DEAL?
We do not have a specific number or a specific lease contract in mind. We are flexible and are willing to help out with the labor, financial planning and marketing. We are mostly looking for a plan that fits with our company so it is important that you know (or learn) about our farm, mission and our story to see if your future plans fit within this context. We do expect that the plan will be able to contribute at least 25% of the land/real estate expenses (this includes mortgage, property taxes and insurance costs) plus the cost for water and electricity used by the vegetables production.
